‘A space we can thrive in’: New Mexico Asian Film Festival kicks off

Albuquerque was home to the first-ever New Mexico Film Festival which featured Asian short films produced by Asian and Pacific Islander directors, an awards ceremony, and a feature film celebrating Asians in film. “It’s not a path we’re encouraged to take, so it is a very hard space to navigate.”

Resources at your fingertips: BernCo launches mental health app

Bernalillo County has released an app to support those struggling with mental health. A community program specialist with the Department of Behavioral Health Services, said the goal was to create something to help the community find the resources they need, especially in the wake of COVID-19.
